PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electric motor that, for example, allows the number of parts to be reduced and at the same time can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The electric motor is provided with a shaft 1, a core 4 where a plurality of slots that are fixed to the shaft 1 and are extended in the direction of the axis are formed, a coil 5 where a conductor is wound around the slots in double-winding, a commutator 8 provided at one side of the core 4 being fixed to the shaft 1 with a plurality of arranged commutator pieces 7, and a equalizing wire 9 electrically connecting the commutator pieces 7 that should be at the same potential. The equalizing wire 9 is provided with a cut end being halfway locked to a hook formed at one side of the commutator pieces 7 and wound continuously, and at the same time is provided close to the side surface of the commutator 8.
