PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an image forming parameter. SOLUTION: As for a system and a method for detecting the image forming parameter, the formation of a 1st image formed by a pseudo random noise and the formation of a 2nd image formed by the same random noise are included, and the device functions as an image forming parameter sensor when the 1st image and the 2nd image are overlaid on top of the other. This sensor is useful for the visual detection of the image forming parameter like a geometric error. For a concrete example, the 1st and 2nd patterns are formed by modulating respective patterns by the pseudo random noise. For another concrete example, the 1st and 2nd patterns are formed by forming a pseudo random image and reversing the pseudo random image, and also, the patterns are formed by the phase shift of one image or both images. |
