PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve working efficiency and to reduce the burden of an operator in the case of structuring a document (generation of structured text document data). SOLUTION: A document structure constrain information inputting part 1 inputs document structure constraint information (DTD, etc.), showing grammatical definition designating the contents of structuring. A document structure editing part 2 edits the document structure of text document data to be structurized on the basis of an instruction from an operator using a graphical user interface. A displaying part 7 displays the document structure to be edited and the text document data to be structured which are arrange side by side. A tagging processing part 8 associates the elements of the document structure edited by the part 2 with the document elements in the text document data to be structruized according to an instruction from the operator using the graphical user interface so as not to go against the document structure constraint information and performs tagging for structuring on the basis of the association. |
