PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new Internet communication system having functions capable of transmitting an electronic(E) mail or facsimile data through the Internet and downloading home page data of a prescribed WEB through the Internet and to easily select an E mail address or a URL in the Internet communication system. SOLUTION: Respective E mail addresses and URLs are previously stored at random in an EEPROM 10d, and when an original is set up in a scanner 10f, only addresses in which at marks are written are extracted from an Internet address storage area 10d2 included in the EEPROM 10d and the extracted result is displayed on an LCD 11 as address candidates.
