PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film unit with a waterproof type lens constituted so that convenience required when it is taken out from a waterproof case is improved. SOLUTION: The waterproof case 8 is constituted of a case main body 1 and the cover 2 thereof. A hole piercing through the main body 1 and the cover 2 at the outside of the case 8 is formed. By inserting a strap through the hole, the main body 1 and the cover 2 are connected. Thus, the main body 1 and the cover 2 are prevented from being inadvertently separated, that means, from jumping out when the case 8 is forcibly prized open.
