PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stool sampling container preventing accidental adhering of a sampled specimen to an opening and saving time and cost in a stool sampling inspection. SOLUTION: This stool sampling container is provided with a bottomed longitudinally long tube shaped container body, a liquid covering an opening of the container body, and a stool sampling body attached to the inside of the lid so it is inserted inside the container body from the opening when covering the opening with the lid. One part in a circumferential direction of an upper rim of the opening is lowered and the upper rim is formed in a split pipe shape for using the lowered part as a guide part for inserting the stool sampling body in the opening. A protrusion preventing rolling of the container body is protrusively provided on the outer circumferential face of the container body. An adhering part for adhering a label or a seal is provided distinguishably from other portions on the outer circumferential face of the container body. Portions other than the adhering part of the container body are made translucent or opaque for distinguishing the adhering part from the other portions. The label or the seal adhered to the adhering part is for displaying personal information converted into bar code of a person receiving the inspection.
