BASE STATION, TERMINAL, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING WIRELESS FREQUENCY COMMUNICATION WITH HOPPED FREQUENCY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method capable of accessing the Internet and other applications from any place within a range of a prescribed distance from a desktop personal computer(PC) at a low cost with convenience in a mobile way. SOLUTION: The compact hand-held terminal acts like a user interface and makes communication with a base station placed in the vicinity of the desktop PC and connected thereto through an FM frequency hop wireless link. A user at home can conveniently use a laptop PC remotely by using the hand-held terminal so as to obtain a degree of freedom similar to the laptop PC while maintaining inexpensive network connection. Proper video, audio data and a keyboard and mouse signal are delivered between the desktop PC and the hand-held terminal through the FM frequency hopped wireless link. This invention is suitable for transfer of high quality video image of various applications within a short range.
