PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embody a motor controller capable of reducing cogging torque according to the temperature of a motor without change in the mechanical structure of the motor itself. SOLUTION: A d-axis current command value computation part reads a angular speed of motor rotation ωθ outputted from an angular speed computation part (S10) of motor rotation and, referring to a d-axis current command value map, judges whether the read motor angle-of-rotation speed ωθ is within a range expressed as (-ωθ1)<=ωθ<=ωθ1 (S12). If so (S12: Yes), the d-axis current command value computation part chooses a d-axis current command value ((-id1*) from the d-axis current command value map, and outputs it to a deviation computation part 16 (S14). As a result, exciting current is reduced and thus cogging torque can be reduced. |
