PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly control temperature of an LD element with high accuracy. SOLUTION: An exothermic resistor 8 of thin film and a resin layer 9 covering the exothermic resistor 8 are adhered on the upper surface of an insulating board 7, a mounting part 10 of a metal thin film for mounting an LD element 4 is adhered on the upper surface of the resin layer 9, to constitute an LD board 6, and it is used for an LD module. The LD element 4 is kept at a high temperature equal to that at operation, during stopping of the operation of the LD element 4, and temperature is controlled rapidly with high accuracy at starting operation of the LD element 4, etc.
