PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold capacitor which can solve the problem of recessed and projected portions 5, 5 of a metallized dielectric film 3 peeling from metallikon layers 6,6 and has a high corona start voltage. SOLUTION: By coating both end surfaces of a wound capacitor terminal 10 with an elastic stress relaxation layer 11a, such as silicon rubber or the like, hardening expansion/shrinkage forces when a mold resin is molded are absorbed by the stress relaxation layer composed of an elastic material, so that peeling of recessed and projected potions 5, 5 of a metallized dielectric film 3 from metallikon layers 6,6 is prevented.
