PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable electronic information equipment capable of obtaining satisfactory characteristics even in an tended state or folded state in the configuration of tending at the ordinary use and folding at waiting. SOLUTION: This equipment has a first antenna 11 arranged on the side of a display casing 2 and constituted so as to be extended/contracted and a second antenna 16 built in a casing 1 for the main body and in the extended state, the first antenna 11 is extended and operated as a monopole antenna but in the folded state, the first antenna 11 is contracted and connected with the second antenna 16 so that a loop antenna can be formed of both antennas 11 and 16.
