摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of correcting an unsensed time and radiation contamination in transmission scan of a nucear camera system. SOLUTION: A positron emission tomographic(PET) image is corrected as to attenuation using transmission scan. The camera system includes two detectors, and two corresponding single-photon-dot radiation sources collimated to generate a fan beam-irradiating profile. Transmission detecting windows and radiation contamination detecting windows are specified on the respective detectors. Radiations from the respective radiation sources are scanned in the coresponding transmission detecting windows and along an axial direction over visual fields of the detectors to provide transmission-projected data. Emission data are provided concurrently in the radiation contamination detecting windows as in the transmission detecting windows, when the scan is shifted axis- directionally.</p>
