PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the movement of nose pads in a vertical direction is considerably technically difficult and is hardly infeasible in the stage of retail stores while the fine adjustment of the positions of the nose pads is heretofore needed to fit spectacles to individual users and the longitudinal and lateral movement thereof is relatively easy. SOLUTION: This pad box is provided with a pad arm insertion hole 10 allowing the insertion of a pad arm 9 in a position nearer a base surface 3 of a pair of peripheral wall surface 2b and 2d adjacent to the peripheral wall surface 2a and 2c of a pad box body 1 which is formed to the shape of a measure consisting of the four peripheral wall surface 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d adjacent to each other, the one base surface 3a and an aperture 4 and is mounted with a pivotally supporting screw 7 for a nose pad leg between a pair of the peripheral wall surface 2a and 2c facing each other. The pad box body is provided with slits 12 respectively from the peripheral edge on the inner side of the pad arm insertion hole 10 toward the aperture 4.
