PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a specimen conveyance apparatus in which the height and the axis of a conveyance line unit are adjusted easily and with good accuracy, in which the state of a rack to be conveyed can be observed visually, in which a region with an obstructed field of view is small, which is light as a whole, which does not have a sense of oppression and which looks well. SOLUTION: A plurality of conveyance line units 44a to 44d and supports 40, 40' ends on one side, of which support the conveyance line units constitute this specimen conveyance apparatus. The conveyance line units by the execution shape of this invention are constituted in such a way that they have a height at which conveyors 13 and their driving devices 14 can be installed and that ends, on one side, of the conveyance line units 44a to 44d are placed on the supports 40, 40'. The conveyance line units 44a to 44d are constituted in such a way that the conveyors 13 which have a transparent cover and which convey a rack 15 the conveyor driving devices 14, a power-supply cable which connects the supports 40. 40' and an interconnection for a signal are housed. Their height and their width are constituted so as to have a minimum which is necessary and sufficient for housing them. In addition, sequencers and power-supply devices are housed inside the supports 40, 40'. A rack rotation mechanism 6 which changes the conveyance direction of the rack 15 is installed.
