PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle navigation device capable of setting a driving care degree required for a driver to warn corresponding to a fluctuation in an environmental factor when a vehicle actually travels on a road. SOLUTION: A control circuit of a car navigation device obtains information data corresponding to a season, a time, a temperature, and weather in judgment items for a dangerous level (steps A5-A7) when judging a car currently locating in a dangerous area specified in map data or in neighborhood of the area (step A2), counts an amount of the items applicable to evaluation criteria based on the information data (steps A8-A15), and sets the dangerous level in the specified dangerous area to change a warning mode corresponding to the dangerous level. |
