PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video structuring device to structure video by automatically adding information for image retrieval and to make a processing about editing and process of an image easier. SOLUTION: This video structuring device is constituted by providing a video recorder 11, an image feature amount extracting device 12 to extract a feature amount of the image and a structure recording medium 15 to record the extracted feature amount together with a digital image. In addition, the recorded image is segmented by a cut/shot changed point recorder 13, pieces of information acquired by a representative frame extracting device 16, a camera information recorder 17 and an environmental information recorder 18 are added to it and managed by the structure generated by a structure generating device 14.
