The method for generating a linear force from rotation according to the invention foresees rotation of a working body (1) at a constant rotating speed and is characterized in that at least at one point of the working body periphery is applied a radially directed impulse of force which elastically deforms the working body (1) and as a result is generated an energy power field having wave length Le and speed Ve which crosses the working body (1) so at a point opposite to the force impulse applying point the working body (1) transmits to the system a secondary impulse thus the angle between the primary impulse reaction vector and secondary impulse vector differs of 180 DEG so the result of the two impulses is the linear force. The system includes a working body (1) joined to and rotated by a drive mechanism characterized in that the working body (1) is elastic or solid.
