The present invention provides a process and apparatus for injection molding articles in which first (316A) and second (316B) resin streams within the mo ld cavity (312) interact to form an interlocking knit line geometry (320). The process includes the steps of: a) providing a mold defining a mold cavity; ( b) providing first and second resin streams within the mold cavity, each resin stream having a flow front; and c) causing the flow fronts to interact to fo rm an interlocking knit line geometry.
