AN INFORMATION RECORDING ASSEMBLY

A notepad retainer (10) comprises a body which is injection moulded from a hard plastics material having a rectangular front recess (12) defined by a raised surround (14). A rectangular notepad (16) is designed to nest snugly with the recess (12). A thin rectangular ferrous sheet (18) is glued to the cardboard backing (20) of the notepad and is arranged to adhere to a flat magnetic insert in the base of the recess (12). A pair of rectangular fridge magnets (28) are affixed to the rearmost face of the retainer (10), and a pen retaining cavity (32) is formed within the left portion (14A) of the frame. Required shopping items and the like are jotted down on a front page of the notepad, and the user may remove the entire assembly from the fridge and return it on completion of a shopping expedition. The notepad may readily be replaced once it has been used up.
