<p>PURPOSE:To improve an operability in setting the position of a tab by providing a tab setting means for setting a character position next to a successive space character as a tab position. CONSTITUTION:The character position next to the successive space character is set as the tab position. A digit position decision circuit 181 for a cursor moving destination decides the moving destination of the cursor based on tab information obtained from cursor position information from a tab skip position taking out circuit 185 and a current cursor position fetch circuit 156. Then, a tab information search circuit 183 decides a start line and an end line to be checked of the tab information, outputs a development request on a target line and the development request is supplied to a text development part 157. A tab information table forming circuit 184 checks whether the tab information is present or not based on the development result obtained in the text development part 157 to form a tab information table and the tab skip position taking out circuit 185 outputs a tab skip digit position based on the tab information table formed in the tab information table forming circuit 184.</p> |
