A communication method including a transfer rate determination step in which all carriers that can be used in data communication and the number of bits that can be allotted to the respective carriers are determined by 1-to-1 trainings between a specific communication device operating as an imaginary master at the time of a high speed mode and all communication devices operating as slaves, a mapping information data determination step in which commonn carriers that can be used among the respective communication devices and the number of common bits that can be allotted to the respective carrier s are determined as mapping information from the results obtained by individua l trainings, and a multiaddress calling step in which all the communication devices are informed of the mapping information data, whereby the communication method enables the improvement of noise-resistant performance, speed increase of the transfer rate and the change of communication mode in accordance with the state of a transmission route and the other party of communication and, further, can realize N-to-N high speed communication easi ly.
