PURPOSE:To simplify the assembling work of a buffer to a vehicle by providing a manual pilot check valve in a flow passage toward the main body of the buffer. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic buffer has a piston part 2 freely sliding in an inner cylinder 1 and a piston rod 3 having said piston part 2 at its lower end. The outer peripheral the of said inner cylinder 1 is provided with an outer cylinder 4, and the inner peripheral side of said outer cylinder 4 with a high pressure gas chamber G. The externally protruding upper end of said piston rod 3 is connected to the side of a vehicle body through a fitting member 30. The shaft core part of said piston rod 3 is formed with a through hole 3a, and a manual pilot check valve 6 is provided inside the upper end of said piston rod 3 into which the upper end of the hole 3a opens. When a ground clearance is adjusted by said buffer, a pressure oil supply source P is connected to said check valve 6, and thereby the clearance can be easily adjusted by operating an operating dial 66. |
