An article storage device, wherein an article is stored through article positioning and pivotally supporting means positioning and pivotally supporting the article in a box body at a position where the article is separated by an equal distance from the inner peripheral wall surfaces of the box body opposed to each other in order to protect the article, as far as possible, against a force such as impact applied to the stored article in vertical, lateral, and rotating directions.
