<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory in which the change of the size ratio of memory cell regions can be performed on board. SOLUTION: The size ratio of memory cell regions is switched by ON/OFF operation of a switch. For example, when it is desired that size ratio of memory cell regions are 25.0%:75.0%, that is, it is desired that memory cell regions are divided into cell blocks 1-2 and cell blocks 3-5, a signal BS2 is activated, only switches 2-b, 1-b between the cell blocks 2 and 3 are turned off. Therefore, the cell block l-2 are driven independently by a local control circuit 10-1 and a Y decoder 5-1, and the cell blocks 3-5 are driven independently by a local control circuit 10-2 and a Y decoder 5-2.</p> |
