摘要 The constant-velocity fixed joint has an outer, hollow joint element, on the inside of which are formed a number of meridionally extending grooves, an inner joint element arranged in the outer joint element and having the same number of meridianly extending grooves on its outside, each pair of grooves formed by a groove in the outer joint element and a groove in the inner joint element accommodating a ball for torque transmission, and a cage arranged between the outer joint element and the inner joint element. The joint is characterised in that at least three pairs of grooves with groove centre lines whose centres of curvature are offset by equal amounts to opposite sides of the bisecting plane of the joint and at least three pairs of grooves with groove centre lines whose centres of curvature lie in the bisecting plane of the joint are formed on the joint elements. While allowing relatively large angular misalignments, in particular in the range of about 40 to 50@, the joint has a considerably greater torque transmission capacity than the conventional Rzeppa joint. It is used with advantage where high loading capacity and large angular misalignments are required such as, for example, in steerable powered axles of vehicles with all-wheel drive, especially all-terrain vehicles and heavy plant.
