The invention relates to a thyristor arrangement comprising a main thyristor (1), at least one auxiliary thyristor (2), a resistance device (3) that electrically connects the auxiliary thyristor and the main thyristor and an optical ignition device (4) for the overhead ignition of the main thyristor by means of the auxiliary thyristor and the resistance device.
