The input device (8) has an electromagnetic screening (2,6) in the form of a hollow waveguide, provided with an access opening (12) at a distance from the input device determined in dependence on the required screening level. The interior of the electromagnetic screening is provided with a sterile protective glove (15) used for handling the input device.
