MANAGER AGENT MODEL SYSTEM

摘要

An autonomous message transmitting method in which, in a manager agent model system having a manager and an agent both accommodated in an IP network, a command-response command governed by connection protocols is transmitted from the agent to the manager before the first autonomous message from the start of the message is transmitted, and the autonomous message is transmitted when a response from the manager to the agent is detected. Thus, an autonomous message (TRAP of SNMP) using connection protocols (UDP) can be reliably transmitted from an agent to a manager. Therefore, a serious failure due to missing of an autonomous message or failure and delay of detection of an important event can be prevented as much as possible.
