<p>The invention solves the problem of the security of documents against their falsification and misuse performed by copying. The subject of the invention consists in a document that enables proof of the registered uniqueness of such document on a given piece of a printing substrate. The subject of the invention involves also a method of clear, repeatable, machine validation of the registered uniqueness of a protected document and immediate identification of any copy of it. A one substantial aspect of the invention consists in utilisation of some structural characteristics of a printing substrate, or creating of some artificial structures in a printing substrate. These structures are characterised by unique characteristics presented therein in a large amount. The submitted invention is based on that characteristic of each used printing substrate (paper sheet), that each sheet of such substrate is unique and the two same don't exist all over the world what concerns of their internal and facial structure. The method consists in deriving of a system of structural evaluated characteristics of a sheet, coding of these characteristics which are after electronic signing printed along with the transparent and cryptologically protected contents of a document on the same substrate in a machine readable form. The method involves further checking of the registered uniqueness of such document by repeated deriving of the structural characteristic code, their comparison with the recorded original of the system of characteristics and validation of their compliance or diversity. The solution relates also to an apparatus for preparation and validation of the registered uniqueness of such document.</p> |
