Complementary plug connectors (30) has contact gages (32) which establish contact with contacts of plug-in modules (2) arranged in framework (10). Parallel sliders (21) of U-shaped slider arrangement (20) have crank slots (24) which shift modules within the frame vertically in a plug-in direction (S). By moving the slider, the modules are plugged in sequence to the connector. Each plug-in module (2) has chamber (5) for ensuring electrical contact and side blocks (4) on its opposite sides (3). The side blocks of the modules intervenes into the crank slot and move along inclined region (25) of the slot by operating parallel sliders (21) of the slider arrangement.
