The instrument includes: - a face plate (10a); - a location (20a) behind the face plate (10a) containing a number of terminal supports (24) around its periphery; - a pair of crossed over windings (26); - a number of terminals (25) fitted to the terminal supports (24); - a printed circuit card (30) supported so that it can be removed from the compartment (20a) at the level of the face plate (10a) and in parallel with it; - an indicating needle spindle (27) supported so as to rotate inside the location (20a) so as to project towards the exterior through the printed circuit card (30) and the face plate (10a), and; - a permanent magnet (28) coaxial with the indicator spindle (27). Each terminal (25) includes an elastic part having a base (25a) fixed to the support (24), a part (25c) which extends from the base part (25a) in the direction of an end connection which corresponds to one of the windings (26) for connection to it and a pressure contact part (25d) which extends from the base (25a) to the printed circuit card (30) so as to form a pressure contact from the rear due to its elasticity.
