A method and system for controlling power output from a power source of a wireless communications device having a menu interface, such as a cellular telephone, mobile computer or personal digital assistant, is described. A time and/or day or days for controlling the output power of the power source is selected in the menu interface. The output power may be reduced either power-off or sleep mode, or increased, or power-on, at the selected time and/or day. A user may select to clear or override previous settings. |
