<p>A method and apparatus for encoding code into, and decoding code from, a series of stored images comprising : means for obtaining sub-codes, and means for inserting/recovering said sub-codes into/from a series of data fields or frames of an image. The data fields are identified by a sync signal, whereby an identification code (watermark) is derivable from a combination of said sub-codes and the sub-codes are derivable from said identification code.</p> |
