The invention provides an electronic measuring device which includes a means (50) for measuring values related to an object to be measured, a processing unit (120) on which is stored a management software algorithm which prompts an operator of the device to enter the desired data in the desired sequence, and preferably a data transmitter (40) integrally connected to the processing unit such that data received and/or processed by the processing unit can be transmitted to a desired external device.
