The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical preparation containing as an active substance one or several galacturonides with polymerization degree within the range of 2 to 7 and with esterification degree less than 20 percent, and optionally further containing pharmaceutically customary supporting, diluting, auxiliary and filling substances, as well as use of such preparation for blocking deposition of germs on mammalian cells.
