Instability determination method of solid fuel burning

摘要

The method of determining the combustion instability of solid fuels particularly concerns powdered fuels burnt in energetical and industrial combustors. The method is based on measurement of the level and assessment of time fluctuations and measurement of some of the characteristic parameters of flame, for example temperature, radiation intensity and concentration of oxygen or combustion products, in the selected low-frequency bands. Relative fluctuation is proportionate to combustion instability.
