Composition for washing of keratin materials comprises at least one anionic surfactant, opacifier (1.5 wt.%) and an acrylic terpolymer, in cosmetic medium. The process employs a 1-6C alkyl (meth)acrylate, a monomer such as a heterocyclic vinyl compound containing at least one nitrogen or sulfur atom, and a monomer such as a urethane produced by reaction of a monoethylenic unsaturated isocyanate and a non-ionic surfactant. The opacifier can also give a mother-of-pearl effect.
