The invention concerns an arrangement for centring logs 1 in their radial direction, which arrangement comprises adjustable centring devices 2, 3 placed against the log's circumference. In order to reduce centring errors which could be caused by twigs 5 or by any other deformities, the arrangement according to the invention has been designed so that the end 3 of the centring devices 2, 3 consists of a bogie structure 3 with two free ends, which bogie structure is attached by shaft 4 to the centring device so as to be able to turn freely. In this way, each centring device has two points of contact with the log 1. <IMAGE>
