PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently manufacturing an opening sheet for forming an elastic and expansible opening on a front surface sheet of a disposable diaper. SOLUTION: A continuous body of an annular opening sheet 1 is obtained through a process (a) of feeding a first continuous sheet 2 and an elastic members 3 in one direction; a process (b) of attaching the elastic members 3 to both side edges 2c of the first continuous sheet 2 in the extended state; a process (c) of folding the first continuous sheet 2 at a first center line Y1 extending in the longitudinal direction and then overlapping it; a process (d) for joining the overlapped first continuous sheet 2 in the first joining range B1 extending in the width direction; a process (e) for cutting and dividing the first continuous sheet 2 at a dividing line C1 extending in the width direction; a process of feeding the second continuous sheet in one direction; a process of folding the second continuous sheet at a second center line extending in the longitudinal direction, overlapping the second continuous sheet on the first continuous sheet, and joining the first continuous sheet 2 and the second continuous sheet in the second joining range; a process of cutting off the first continuous sheet 2 and the second continuous sheet at a cutting line; and a process of extending the second continuous sheet outward in the width direction.
