PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image information reading apparatus provided with an image displaying monitor, and the position and direction of monitor picture, and display size and picture quality can be set up freely. SOLUTION: The image information reading apparatus 100 is provided with the exclusive image display part 110, and other than that, provided with the parameter alternation device 130 and interface terminal 150 to connect the monitor 200 which its display part 210 is mounted on a tilting stage 220. The parameter alternation device 130 generates the treated data D2 by image treatment based on the image treating parameter depending to the characteristic of the monitor 200, as other than the data D1 for the image display part 110. The data D2 is input to the monitor 200 through the interface terminal 150. By this, both preferable picture qualities are obtained instead of difference of each display performance and size of the image display part 110 and monitor 200, and the arranging position and direction of picture can be adjusted easily.
