PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch disposing structure and transmission using the clutch disposing structure to suppress and shorten the unit length of a clutch transmission using at least one set of the clutch mechanism. SOLUTION: This clutch disposing structure is provided with a synchronizer to couple the drive gears 222, 226, and 227 of respective speeds to first and second input shafts 124 and 144 through selection of a selection means. The drive gears 222, 226, and 227 of the first input shaft 124 are disposed alternately from the low speed side so that subsequently selected switched drive gears 242 and 244 are positioned on the second input shaft 144 on the opposite side.
