PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seatback frame of a vehicle which makes a seated person uncomfortable caused by the contact with the frame when the person is seated and improves a comfortableness in the seat. SOLUTION: Clearances S1, S2, S3 secured between a human body P and a seating face 2A, 3A, 4A by the elastic deformation of the pad material 6 are nearly uniformed in the width direction of the seating face 2A, 3A, 4A due to a proper cross-sectional shape of the seating face 2A, 3A, 4A of a seat back frame 1, generating no part of too little clearances. Therefore, the human body P gives no feeling of physical disorder such as a feeling of something stiff or projecting and is more comfortable in the seat.
