SUBSTANCE: method involves cutting slits inclined in longitudinal-vertical plane; cutting horizontal slits positioned above inclined slits; providing moisture accumulating vessels inside soil, with vessels being made in the form of trapezia and located at lower part of inclined slits; simultaneously providing uniform layer-by-layer distribution of fertilizers of different kinds in horizontal and inclined slits, with following covering of slits and mulching upper soil layer. Apparatus has frame, working tools, fertilizer cases, bar attached to frame by means of pivot joint and designed for carrying disks. Working tool has horizontal slitters, long and short inclined slitters, chisel, fertilizer guide terminating in divider-distributor made in the form of truncated wedge positioned in offset relation to fertilizer guide axis. EFFECT: increased efficiency, improved quality of soil and uniform distribution of fertilizer. 3 cl, 7 dwg
