PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing device capable of efficiently performing a repairing work, simple in structure of the device and excellent in sealing property and a repairing method therefor. SOLUTION: A main body 8 holding a packer 9 is inserted into gas pipes 1, 2, gas is injected into the packer 9, the packer 9 is expanded and the packer 9 is brought into pressure contact with inner peripheral surfaces of the gas pipes 1, 2, leaving an intermediate part 9a opposed to a coupling part 4. Subsequently, fast-setting elastic polymer such as polyureaurethane resin is injected from an injection mechanism 13 in injection space 28 formed between the intermediate part 9a of the packer 9 and the inner peripheral surfaces of the gas pipes 1, 2, a resin coating layer is formed and the coupling part 4 is sealed.
