TREATED MATERIAL OF BUCKWHEAT SEEDS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING LIQUOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a treated material of buckwheat seeds not producing glutinousness even when water is absorbed into the buckwheat seeds by long-term immersion with water or scattering of a large amount of water, etc., and provide a new method for producing liquor. SOLUTION: This treated material of buckwheat seeds in which glutinousness is lowered is obtained by subjecting the buckwheat seeds to heat treatment without drying these seeds or after drying these seeds. This method for producing liquor comprises using the above treated material of buckwheat seeds. The treated material has preferably viscosity of <272 cP when water suspension of powder of the treated material is measured under definite conditions.
