PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for thinly cutting a cabbage, having solved such as a problem that when a cabbage is thinly cut by a mechanical means such as an electrically-driven cutter, etc., in a conventional method, thinly cut pieces mostly consisting of leaf vein parts are partially produced to cause a factor of dropping the commercial value of the whole thinly cut pieces of cabbage. SOLUTION: This method for thinly cut a cabbage comprises horizontally cutting a cabbage sphere 1 in the vicinity of the central largest diameter part of the cabbage sphere to separate an upper hemisphere 5 from a lower hemisphere 6 and thinly cutting the lower hemisphere 6 in the longitudinal direction so as to make cutting lines 10 have 45 deg. ±5 deg. to a leaf vein part 3. |
