PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shape a high quality shaped food that has a solid shape difficult to collapse and yet soft, is excellent in taste and texture. SOLUTION: This food-shaping apparatus comprises the following components: a mold 1 formed by oppositely combining a pair of molding frames 15 and 15 formed by arranging plural molding boards 12, 13 and 14, in a protruding and parallel state, on a side board 11 for molding a compressed food; and a stretchable frame 2 hanging a mold 1 which is freely stretchable in an axial direction, and closed and opened into two axial directions by the stretching motion. The mold 1 is constructed by placing a guide face 12b, 13b or 14b of the tip of each molding board 12a, 13b or 14b on one side of the base of each molding board in such a manner that a pair of molding frames are symmetrically movable in the lateral direction when the mold is close, and placing an engaging part 12c, 13c or 14c of the tip of each molding board on the base of the guide face, and thereby the mold 1 has a self-helping function for closing. |
