PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert a sheet object, such as a topographical map card, into a storage pocket by one hand. SOLUTION: This storage pocket is used to insert a sheet object, such as a topographical map card or town map card, inside an automobile. Especially, a plate-shaped press-contact element 18 is slidingly guided by a guide track 24 having a terminal division 26 extending perpendicularly to the working direction of a press-contact spring element 34. As a result, when the press-contact element 18 is positioned inside the terminal division 26 of the guide track 24, the guide track 24 retains the press-contact element 18 against the force of the press-contact spring element 34.
