PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for manufacturing a wood block print capable of affording a stereoscopic pattern while adopting a technique of the print affecting an accident capable of influencing a work by a creator and predicting a finished state. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a wood block print comprises the steps of forming a surface-like recess 2 on a design part of a wood block print plate 1, filling the recess 2 with sand 4 or the like mixed with a paste, first printing at a small pressure, then second printing at a large pressure, transferring the sand 4 or the like retained on the plate to a transfer material such as paper 6 or the like, thereby creating a second printed product as a work.
