PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knockdown step which dries fast, is simple and easy to handle and usable for any shape of washing place. SOLUTION: A knockdown step 1 comprises one and more different kinds of draining boards 10, 20, 30 joined together to be put in place. The draining boards 10, 20, 30 are made of one and more boards laid out and fixed in parallel at a right angle to one and more square timbers. The square timbers of the first kind of draining board stick out of the both sides of the boards, the ones of the second stick out of one side and the ones of the third don't stick out of any side. A step 50 is used with any of the first to the third put in place.
